“Next article should be Caribou population explosion endangers ....
Or that Caribou are turning into wusses and starting to wear man buns and it’s all our fault for giving them warmth and cover with the pipeline.
“And I am guessing they have never experienced a tundra mosquito...or a billion of them.”
They probably have and are suing to make them an endangered species.
In the pictures at the link you’d be hard pressed to find a single living creature bigger than microscopic size.
Bkmk
Im pretty sure caribou farts contain methane and co2 gas.
LOL!
(Thats disgusting!)
Theyre all fine.
Ha ha!
Its actually like a tar and mud pit that will swallow you alive.
Not a hikers paradise exactly...unless youre into that kind of thing.
Only if you order crispy...
:D
And all those caribou are covered head to toe with 1,000s of mosquitoes!!
Great info. And also, how can it even be “polluted” if that is it’s natural untouched condition?
Windmills....the environmentalists love them....
They would never allow a oil drill where they have a windmill...
Traveled the Columbia River and what do you see stupid windmills
Not enough sense to move them back a few miles..
#13 They built it crooked. I suspect the surveyor was drinking.
Friggin hate skeeters.
Amen, and built on some of the most fertile farmland in the world. It’s heartbreaking.
They want to explore/drill where nobody lives or wants to go there. There was some idiot senator (no, not the one who said Guam will tip over but close) who said something about how he’d like to go camping there but never camped before. They have mosquitoes the size of humming birds there. All tundra.
What you are showing is the nicer area. The 2 square miles of coastal plain where the lateral drilling will be conducted is, flat, barren, and covered with snow and ice 10 months out of the year and is mud the other 2 months. It is a minuscule part of the overall ANWR. The scenic parts of the reserve are over 100 miles south of there.
