Late one night, I was in my car, having just come out of the supermarket.
I was checking my dog cams on my phone when suddenly, a screaming woman slammed against the window, hitting them and yelling she needed help to get food for her ‘baby’.
Beating on my car, late at night in a parking lot is a superb way to get yourself seriously hurt.
There is another gal in the same parking lot (shared with Walmart) that wanders around with a shopping list. Baby formula, diapers, etc. is at the top of the list.
It really is big business. I’ve seen TV shows where they follow the person and they get in a nice new car and head to their middle-class home.
We give monthly to several local places that help out the homeless. REAL help including job training, rehab, and spiritual guidance if they want it. (Of course they can’t help but notice that it is the power of Christ that is helping them.)
