That’s why they are called Dogs: It is GOD spelled backwards (i.e., the mirror image of the word GOD).
That reminds me of the story about God naming the animals.
At the creation God gathered all the animals of the world around Him. He said, “I am going to give you each unique name.” As He issued the names, the animal so named ran off to live its life in its own habitat. At last, there was only one animal left unnamed. The little creature jumped and skipped around the Master, looking at Him with pleading eyes: “What about me, Master? Is there no name for me?” God smiled and leaned down and stroked the little creature’s ears. “I saved you for last, dear one, because you are closest to My heart. So I will name you after Myself, but backwards, as if you are my mirror. Henceforth, you will be called Dog.”
Is that from the Bible?
Funny thing that “God-dog” stuff.
In France, a dog is un chien, not a ueid
In Germany, a dog is ein hundt, not a ttog.
In Spain, a dog is una perro, not a soid.
Pithy nonsense and tripe.
