Ray Taliaferro, an outspoken liberal who from 1977 through 2011 hosted an overnight talk radio program on KGO, has been found dead.
His son tells ABC7 News his father's body was found behind Brooks Stadium in Paducah Ky.
More detail here. Sounds like he may have had a memory issue.

What is with all these dead bodies popping up?
My mom used to listen to him at night. She would get up just irate and some of the drivel he was spouting.
Happens every day.
This is very sad news. I disagreed with Ray politically, but I too was fascinated by his charm, humor and general knowledge of what motivates all people.
I am happy that at least we know he’s not somewhere alone and suffering. It’s an unfortunately common thing that happens to people when they get some version of alzheimers.
It was almost to the anniversary of the day his radio station cast all the old pros out and took their shows away from them. That fateful day was on December 2nd, 2011.
Cumulus had purchased the station, and they didn’t give a damn about quality as we in the Bay Area saw it.
Goodbye, Mr. Taliaferro.
RIP. I used to listen to Dr Bill Wattenberg on KGO weekend nights. So naturally pulled in Ray’s show sometimes. Bill disappeared when KGO changed formats temporarily which enabled them to dump him, I guess. Both men had wonderful radio voices. Bill was a natural though he was a prof at Berkeley and worked at Livermore Labs as nuke scientist. Ray was liberal but not like the current generation of libs which is a compliment.
Have they figured out what happened to that US naval commander?
I’ve seen three different stories posted here.
None of them concurred.
"...why so many dead people?..."
How in the world can you be a liberal talk show host?! Not ever take any calls? Its common sense vs emotion so how do you not lose all credibility after only a few intelligent callers?
If all were cremated, SUVs would have a lot of guilt lifted.
All the time..every day...every hour...every second.
Ray must have been pretty old by now.
When I heard him 40 years ago I was a teen and had no real political understanding.
Makes no sense to me...........but we live in a weird world now. : )
Ray must have been pretty old by now.

I remember that day, when kgo purged its veteran talent - Burns, Dr Bill, Lawyer Lem. I was shocked and saddened. The station took a nosedive and has never recovered
Michael Savage’s first radio gig was as a fill-in for Taliaferro.
KGO turned to crap after the purge of their stars
Hillary is running in 2020.
