President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump joined the chorus of voices praising former President George H. W. Bush for his lifetime of service following the 41st president's death Friday night. Bush passed away in his home in Houston.

Trump has also ordered the flags in Washington at half-staff for 30 days and he has moved the date of a press conference with Argentina out of respect for the Bush family.

I was very much looking forward to having a press conference just prior to leaving Argentina because we have had such great success in our dealing with various countries and their leaders at the G20....— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 1, 2018

....However, out of respect for the Bush Family and former President George H.W. Bush we will wait until after the funeral to have a press conference.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 1, 2018

Former President Obama also praised Bush for his humility while writing his own condolences.

America has lost a patriot and humble servant in George Herbert Walker Bush. While our hearts are heavy today, they are also filled with gratitude. Our thoughts are with the entire Bush family tonight – and all who were inspired by George and Barbara’s example. pic.twitter.com/g9OUPu2pjY— Barack Obama (@BarackObama) December 1, 2018

Bush was 94 years old. His wife, former First Lady Barbara Bush, passed away last April.

Trump is such a gentleman to treat that old fart with any respect given how bitter and twisted he was about Trump’s success

Yeah, the turning on Trump was one thing ... but endless photo ops with the Obamas and Clintons was another.

H.W. Bush was the “Mister Rogers” of the globalists.

The Bush cartel and the Clinton Crime Family decided it was in their best interests to join forces.

Trump would be insulted and hurt to be called a gentleman. It’s not his persona.

Of course the elder Bush was the kind of Republican Clinton and Obama loved - a punching bag who would take their abuse with a smile, sell out his conservative backers to win favor with Beltway insiders and financiers, and engage in foreign wars initially backed by Democrats, who would then turn on him the second he did their bidding.

President Bush (the elder) was by all accounts a very decent man, a war hero, an accomplished businessman, and a loving husband, father and grandfather. Those are no small accomplishments. But as a president, he was bad for the nation and bad for the conservatives who placed their trust in him and voted for him. He squandered the Reagan legacy, betrayed his backers, and made possible the Clinton reign. He did place Clarence Thomas on the Supreme Court against an organized smear campaign, but he also gave us David Souter.

No more Bushes, no more of their kind (McCain, Romney). If the GOP isn't learning fast from the lessons Trump is providing every day, it should go the way of other dinosaurs and let a true conservative party emerge.

I suspect that when Barrack is taken on Al-Burāq to meet MadMo and his father, satan, there will be few praising and eulogizing him for his 'humility'.

"It is the sacred principles enshrined in the United Nations charter to which the American people will henceforth pledge their allegiance."

George H. W. Bush, Source: addressing the General Assembly of the U.N., February 1, 1992 [Link: http://www.quoty.org/quote/1782]

Is the elitist ambition to humble America and the American people at the alter of a globalist tyranny the new definition of "humility?"

Humble people rarely make history. They only confuse it.

Obama wouldn’t recognize “humble” if it bit him in the ass.

I’m so glad Obama and Clinton are finally acknowledging what a gracious loser GHW Bush was. We’ve been waiting so long to hear those kind words and I truly think our troubles with political divisions are finally behind us.

Throughout my life I’ve heard ‘bigshots’ praised by common folks for acting like a regular guy. The operative word here is acting.

Prideful people often make very unpleasant history.
