IMHO he has waited too long. If he had released the documents in September as originally planned, he would have put the Democrats on the defensive, kept the House and probably would have won three more seats in the Senate. Now if he releases them, he will get no follow up help in the House, the Media will do all they can to bury it and so far the Department of Justice ( which two years into his term, he should really control) shows no inclination to prosecute Lynch, Comey , Brennan or Clapper. The Senate does not do dynamic investigations. Sorry but Trump seems to have a tendency to pull back at critical times.

I must agree. Late September would have been better. The rats to stole 20+ house seats 2 Senate seats a Governor and many important down ballot offices. Now Mueller and Rosenweasel have the House to come at Trumps flank.

Trump seems to have a tendency to pull back at critical times.

The essential issue is this: was Trump serious about draining the swamp, or was he leveraging popular sentiment in order to win the presidential election?

There are many supporters who believe Trump is executing a carefully thought out strategy. I myself have long stated Trump holds every possible card there is to possess.

So, why doesn't he act? Which begs the original question - did the deep state miscalculate his intentions? That is, did they overreact by assuming an aggressive defense mode mode to prevent his ascension? If we wasn't serious - hey, just kidding guys - then he really brought on a world of hurt to himself.

The other issue is assuming for the moment Trump wasn't serious, would 2 years in the job amid constant harassment change a person's outlook, and essentially force them to pursue action, even though they weren't initially interested?

Baloney.

The information in those FISA documents is a powerful weapon at President Trump's disposal.

He probably made the very prudent decision that it would be foolhardy to use it just to get Kevin McCarthy as the House Speaker instead of Nancy Pelosi. That would be the equivalent of sending an aircraft carrier group to deal with a boat full of Somali pirates.

No he has not waited too long and the system is too corrupt to indict, try and punish these traitors in the civilian judicial system. We are where we have to be now to engage the enemy with the full gamete of the system to do it legally and Constitutionally.

I’m not so sure that releasing the documents pre-midterms would have helped very much with the elections. The Dems with their MSM mouthpiece would have done everything possible to discredit the information as a political ploy.

I think he held off for two main reasons. One, I think he may be using what is in them to rein in Rosenstein without having to endure the storm that firing him would cause before Heir Mueller releases his hit job. Which brings us to the second, most important reason. He plans on using that and other classified information to discredit the impeachment report that Mueller is sure to hand over to Nancy and company and turn the tables in an epic political fight to be waged over the next year.

Yes he does. And I really don’t understand why and I’m sure they’re more complex things behind the scenes maybe some blackmail things are holding against President Trump who knows.

I tend to agree.

Hopefully, it turns out that the president did make the correct move.

The left would have done it. But then, they have the entire media on their side.
