Hinkley never had dinner with anyone from the Bush family. Hinkley was to have been brought as a date of an invite to a dinner gathering set at the home of Neil Bush in Denver, but the event was cancelled and never took place. Hinkley’s family were donors to republican causes including one of the Bush campaigns.
