Measles cases worldwide jumped more than 30 percent last year compared to 2016, with increases recorded in wealthy European countries like Germany where vaccination coverage has historically been high, the UN said Thursday.

The World Health Organization said the worrying trend of resurgent measles cases was a near global phenomenon, but the causes varied among regions.

Not sure about your gambling habits but the data I posted is clear. Measles hysteria is real and #FakeNews helps you, and others, along. Read the data again, or for the first time if you’re a poster rather than a reader.

You said: The odds of either you or your family getting the measles are in the realm of hitting the powerball

The odds of either you or me of winning Powerball is approximately 1 in 300,000,000. The odds of you or me contracting the measles is around 3 in 100. The math isn't hard but you weren't even in the realm of possibility. I don't see much hysteria on this thread but I do see your over the top hyperbole.

Worst cases of everything from colds to cancers happen to people low on vitamin d3. A lot of adults in winter could really use 5000 IU s day. To know exactly precisely how much you need, you’d need and blood test now, start supplementing, then adjust dose after the next test in 2 months. Or you could just take 5000 IU now and worry a lot less about the sick kids visiting.
