The odds of either you or me of winning Powerball is approximately 1 in 300,000,000. The odds of you or me contracting the measles is around 3 in 100. The math isn't hard but you weren't even in the realm of possibility. I don't see much hysteria on this thread but I do see your over the top hyperbole.

Worst cases of everything from colds to cancers happen to people low on vitamin d3. A lot of adults in winter could really use 5000 IU s day. To know exactly precisely how much you need, youd need and blood test now, start supplementing, then adjust dose after the next test in 2 months. Or you could just take 5000 IU now and worry a lot less about the sick kids visiting.
