It would be fun for the republicans to pick either the most conservative democrat in the House (if there are any!) or the most inept. Imagine socialist Speaker Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez winning with all republican votes and a couple dozen far-left supporters. The democrats would be paralyzed by the incompetence.
