President Donald Trump is canceling his G-20 summit meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin over Russia’s conflict with Ukraine, Trump announced in a tweet on Thursday.
Putin and Trump were set to meet on Saturday at the summit of world leaders in Argentina, the Kremlin said this week.

IMO Putin wants something from Trump but doesn’t have anything to trade. He then grabbed the Ukraine ships and sailors to use for chips. After some serious toothpulling, he’ll reluctantly agree to give up the ships and sailors if Trump gives him such-and-such.
I’ve changed my opinion on this. Trump doesn’t want to be involved in that horse trading over Ukrainian sailors. Let the “EU Army” deal with it.
I don’t think so. Russia’s pulling some funny business not returning the sailors. If Russia and Ukraine want to fight over water and which captain ordered what action, let them squabble, but the sailors should be returned forthwith.

It's always "damned if we do, damned if we don't". We tried isolationism, and it just left us an even bigger mess to clean up in the end. Europe cannot take care of itself. History has shown that time and time again.

Obviously, they all got participation trophies for their pathetic, half-assed attempts growning up, and getting a definitive “NO!” in November of 2016, has put them into a zone they are not equipped to handle.
The US never "tried isolationism." It was US liberal interventionism, not isolationism, that eventually led to WWII. Had we not intervened, there would have been no Treaty of Versailles imposed on Germany - the UK and France alone didn't have the strength to impose "peace" on those terms. No Treaty of Versailles would have meant that Hitler would have spent the rest of his days painting postcards rather than occupying France, Poland, and eventually most of the rest of Europe.

Unfortunately I think it could be almost over for the Trump movement. This is the same playbook they used against Christie in New Jersey. Same exact playbook. Except they used it in Christie’s 2nd term.
The goal is to use the media to smear Trump with everything they have. Make it up if they have to, because, it doesn’t matter. They launched a fake investigation into what is known as “bridgegate”, not that different from Russia Russia Russia, it was there to stop Christie from doing reforms to the public workers benefits. It worked. It made him weak, just like it is making Trump weak over time. Bridgegate was 24/7, any stupid info, real or fake was blasted on TV, news, news sites, etc. It worked, it was effective. Christie left NJ with a under 20% approval rating, it worked, they separated Christie from his supporters. Heck even idiots on here cheered this nonsense on. We don’t stick together, they do, and they do it very well. That is our weakness, and they know how to exploit it.
The one part they have not successfully completed is separating President Trump from his supporters. He still draws crowds at his rallies, once they are half filled, quarter filled, like a Hillary and Bill show, then we know they have won. This is the only reason President Trump isn’t gone.
I hope I am wrong, but I don’t see anything moving in our direction that is positive. We have to hang on, it all we have, they win, we are all done and none of this matters.
