On a muggy October morning in 2007, Miamis top federal prosecutor, Alexander Acosta, had a breakfast appointment with a former colleague, Washington, D.C., attorney Jay Lefkowitz.
It was an unusual meeting for the then-38-year-old prosecutor, a rising Republican star who had served in several White House posts before being named U.S. attorney in Miami by President George W. Bush.
Instead of meeting at the prosecutors Miami headquarters, the two men both with professional roots in the prestigious Washington law firm of Kirkland & Ellis convened at the Marriott in West Palm Beach, about 70 miles away. For Lefkowitz, 44, a U.S. special envoy to North Korea and corporate lawyer, the meeting was critical...

so in 2007 the government shut down an FBI investigation that could’ve been embarrassing to the Clintons in 2008.
And this is Trump’s fault? Or he shouldn’t have seated Acosta in April 2017 and those who challenge such appointments said nothing?
There are reports that he did...but that would have came out in 2016, no?
I believe Trump was connected to Epstein purely for financial/investment reasons. No way Trump was involved in the heinous s--t on Epstein's island.
Well we do know Clinton was a frequent flyer on The Lolita Express, and Clinton did leave his body guards behind.
How about killary when she laughed about keeping a child rapist out of jail?
I think Trump tossed him out of. the club after one of the girls tried recruiting at the club...or told him about it..
I think he was a big Clinton donor
Epstien’s flight logs to his island included Bill, Hillary (separately) and Deshowitz among others. No Trump.
guess who ran this case for the FBI: Mueller
He pimped dozens of underage girls. There are plenty of guys doing 20 to life for that.
So yeah, it was called corrupt deal, her deserved much much worse.
The article is poorly laid out, you have to look at all the tabs to get the whole story.

But sources at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida said the billionaire banned him from the premises years ago after he was seen hitting on a teenage girl
“I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.”—Donald Trump in 2002.
The article doesn’t make a big deal about Trump, it just notes that he knew Jeffrey Epstein, it says the same thing about Clinton. It claims both flew on the Lolita Express.
On the google search it has this little excerpt, but I didn't read the deposition:
p. 73. On a plane with Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump. ... Sarah Kellen pleads the Fifth when asked if she ever met Bill Clinton.
Deposition Excerpts
Lawyer says "you had Bill Clinton on the airplane ten or twenty times, right?" "Yeah," he replies. "Do you remember him being on the airplane with younger girls?" "No."
On a plane with Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump. "I think he wanted a ride back to New York." "Did [Sandy Berger] tip off Jeffrey Epstein?" "I refuse to answer."
"Is it also your understanding that Bill Clinton played somewhat of a role ..."
Sarah Kellen pleads the Fifth when asked if she ever met Bill Clinton.
No, the logs include those people but not on flights to his island.
Epstein made his jet available to lots of folks but the island seems to have been his baby.
In June 2008, Epstein pleaded guilty to two state charges: solicitation of prostitution and procurement of minors for prostitution. In an unusually sweet deal with federal prosecutors, he served 13 months of his 18-month sentence in the private wing of a Palm Beach county jail and was permitted to leave six days a week, for 16 hours each day, for work release, according to local press reports. Epstein agreed to register as a sex offender for life, as well as fund attorneys for more than 40 victims who filed lawsuits against him for damages.
