Yeah; the white-eyes are REALLY good at keeping up THEIR end of the 'treaties'; aren't they!
Most violations of treaties were by warriors among the Indians, and prospectors and pioneers among the Americans acting on their own. To think these violations were one-sided is incorrect and to blame an entire race of people for the faults of some among them is racist. We, the United States, have courts to which parties have recourse to address grievances.
At the end of the Indian Wars, the Americans embraced their fellow Americans of Native American origin. Chief Sitting Bull and Chief Geronimo were honored at parades, and joined in traveling Wild West Shows. Chief Tecumseh is honored both in this country and in Canada. These people may have fought against this country; but, with the Indian Wars behind us, we could see that they were defending their people, which is honorable. One day, we will see all wars to have been civil wars, us fighting us, and that all who fought honorably will be together in the Happy Hunting Grounds of the next life. Some people want to hate the Confederates or hate the Whites or hate this group or that. Hate is not the answer for past grievances, but will only lead to more of the same.
