Yeah, they are both disgusting.
Because the more they investigated, the more it looked like the agents fell into a culvert in the dark. In fact, the emergency dispatcher who took the surviving agent's radio call wrote in the log, "(He) thinks they (both agents) ran into a culvert," according to the FBI report.
========================================================
That is what the FBI claimed at the time. In all honesty, can the FBI be trusted?
A year later, they admit, they don't know what happened. A year later: Agent Martinez's death still unsolved; reward increased to $50K
I saw that later and said so....I think anyway!
Well, I have to say that FOX is getting fewer and fewer of my hours of TV watching. They just seem to keep piling on the women with the most irritating/abrasive voices and I can’t stand them so I turn them off. Ones I keep running into are that Adrienne Elrod and Jessica Turlov along with old standby Marie Harf - Gilfoyle is gone so I don’t have to listen to that whiney voice anymore but boy - do they ever need to clean house of those whiney/nasaly voices. I sometimes turn on Outnumbered at noon thinking I’m home free and lo and behold, there’s Elrod or Turlov My husband is very hard of hearing so he thinks I’m nuts - he doesn’t hear any of their voices. That’s why he sticks to action shows where he doesn’t have to listen - just watches!
No thank you!!! The people at CNN can be very aggravating but you know what - none of their voices are irritating anyway.
Zambia??
So you think that the FBI is lying when they say thats what the dispatcher wrote in the log?
1. The dispatcher didn't give the "conclusion" that his death was an accident. That was the FBI at the time. However, now: "A year after the death of El Paso Border Patrol Rogelio Martinez near Van Horn, the FBI admits to ABC-7 no one knows if the agent was killed or if his death was accidental."
https://www.kvia.com/news/el-paso/a-year-later-agent-martinez-s-death-still-unsolved-reward-increased-to-50k/869402661
The FBI now admits they don't know what happened.
2. What the dispatcher wrote in their log: "At that time, Garland told the dispatcher something to the effect of "we ran into a culvert," or "I ran into a culvert," or "I think I ran into a culvert." The dispatcher wrote in his log, "(he) thinks they ran into a culvert."
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/border-patrol-agent-rogelio-martinez-death-fbi-new-details-accident/
The dispatcher isn't even clear what agent Garland stated. Furthermore, notice the absence of the words "fell into" or "tripped into", etc?
He thinks they ran into a culvert? Ok, they ran into it chasing someone? They ran into it to take shelter from an attack?
Is it possible the FBI wanted to cover up an illegal alien attack on two border patrol agents, murdering one of them? Absolutely it's possible.
As we've seen in the last 2 years alone, the FBI is a highly politicized, anti rule of law pro leftist liberal federal government organization.
So no...no, I do not trust the FBI to be lawful and truthful. And guess what, I'm not alone. The last two years moved me from being someone to trust them on a case by case basis, to now knowing that they are institutionally crooked.
So what you think is that a band of drug smugglers or something set an ambush for two armed Border Patrol agents, using nothing but rocks, killing one and seriously injuring the other, and that the FBI is covering up for them because they’re all secretly liberals who want the US to be overrun by Mexican drug gangs. Is that about it?
Do you trust the FBI?
Not yet, but "journalists" are fair game!
I think it’s a lot more likely that they fell into a ditch in the dark than that two armed Border Patrol agents were ambushed by deadly rock-throwing drug smugglers and that the entire FBI and every other law enforcement organization is either covering up for them or too incompetent to find evidence of this ambush.
1. "ran into" (which is alleged to have been said by one of the agents) the culvert means something totally different than "fell into" (which is not alleged to have been said) the culvert.
2. The FBI can not be fully trusted across the board.
3. The FBI now admits they don't know what happened.
Therefore, it's possible border patrol agents were attacked by illegal aliens in our country. Wouldn't be the first, nor the last time it's happened.
They are not "totally different." It's entirely possible to be running in the dark and fall into an unseen hole. In fact, it makes more sense than if they had been carefully walking.
2. The FBI can not be fully trusted across the board.
Which means that the FBI is covering up for drug smugglers and that every other agency involved, including the U.S. Attorneys Office for the Western District of Texas, United States Border Patrol, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Professional Responsibility, Texas Department of Public Safety, CBP Aira nd Marine, CBP Office of Field Operations, Drug Enforcement Administration, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, DHS Homeland Security Investigations, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, DHS-Office of Inspector General, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Culberson County Sheriffs Office, El Paso Police Department, El Paso County Sheriffs Office, Socorro Police Department, Reeves County Sheriffs Office, Pecos Police Department and Portales Police Department, and the U.S Attorneys Office for the District of New Mexico, is equally corrupt and part of the conspiracy, or simply incompetent.
3. The FBI now admits they don't know what happened.
What the FBI says is "To date none of the more than 650 interviews completed, locations searched, or evidence collected and analyzed have produced evidence that would support the existence of a scuffle, altercation, or attack on November 18, 2017."
Therefore, it's possible border patrol agents were attacked by illegal aliens in our country. Wouldn't be the first, nor the last time it's happened.
It's also possible that they were attacked by Nazi zombies, or space aliens, or by the Canadian Olympic Curling Team (I've never trusted them). Or just maybe that they were just running in the dark on a moonless night and fell in a hole. Because it wouldn't be the first time, or the last time, that has happened, either. And I'm willing to bet more people have fallen into holes in the dark than have been attacked by gangs of rock-throwing drug smugglers.
You go on and trust the FBI. I'll go on and not trust them.
