She's a moron, no question. However, I think there's a real danger to Republicans if they (we) take her on directly. As personalities go, she's not nearly as grating as Nancy Pelosi, so people are going to sympathize with her if she is humiliated. Also, even though there's no such thing as an “Hispanic Race”, Latinos and Blacks really seem to identify with her, so making direct attacks on her intelligence will be perceived — irrationally, I concede — as implications that minorities are unintelligent. This woman is so dopey that it would behoove us to let her talk and simply tweet and re-tweet her comments.

IOW, let her hang herself with her own (galaxy-class) stupidity. Probably not a bad idea, generally speaking...especially since people like this NEED to be the center of attention, and it kills them to be ignored.

OTOH, letting someone spout off like she has with this particular issue (history - of which most people are woefully ignorant) is to imply that she is correct. In this particular case, she MUST be slapped down.
