MI6 chiefs are secretly battling Donald Trump to stop him publishing classified information linked to the Russian election meddling investigation.
The UK is warning that the US president would undermine intelligence gathering if he releases pages of an FBI application to wiretap one of his former campaign advisers.
However Trump allies are fighting back, demanding transparency and asking why Britain would oppose the move unless it had something to hide.

The 5 eyes (UK, US, NZ, CA, Aus.) intel sharing allows the various governments to circumvent their own civil rights laws and spy on political and govenment opponents. They don’t want a change in the SQ. But, at this point, I don’t see why Trump owes them any favors and doesn’t release the info. With friend like this, who needs enemies.

As an A.S.A. guy back in and around 1970 ...... I think I can say that I feel the end of what we consider America is over.

May I say: I have old, old friends from around 1972 .......... Segretti, Chapin and others...... and regular old baseball boys from Pittsburgh.
To say the least Roger Stone was one of "the guys" back then pulling off some funny tricks. Segretti was a nice guy, a somewhat messy little fellow, you could hardly see the floor of his VW bug except for the ketchup ...... he liked his fast food, yet never wanted to throw wrappings or cups out the window onto the roads or streets.
