When I worked with the mentally retarded, we learned they were very vulnerable to suggestion, including sexual exploitation.
One UK school noticed a high rate of trans gender in one class.
and multiple personality disorder was one of the problems that could be induced.
The UK said the transgender cases were among those with autism, not retardation...but I am so old most of the low IQ kids with autism were just called retarded back then.
And of course now using the word retarded is taboo.
