Which is not much different than getting people to vote by offering them goods and services that others were compelled to pay for under the premise that the recipients are victims of the providers, unjustly deprived from benefits other's merited, and thus are entitled to them. As procured by (usually limo) liberals who present themselves as saviors of the oppressed, which is usually basically based on being due to race or ethnicity, and which status the liberal liberators much perpetuate.
Under this ethos, which much depend in pathos, and not objective rational thought, there is no mercy (not suffering what you actually deserve) or grace (receiving what you actually did not deserve), and which in people of conscience, incentives a response of gratitude and desire to better oneself toward being a Provider. Instead, insomuch as one subscribes to the lie that they belong to the block of perpetually oppressed victims, then more is typically demanded and betterment deterred, or insofar as material betterment that the government can tell ("home business" are often one way around this).
Being able to identify as a member in good standing of said oppressed culture makes one qualified to claim the right to what others merited, thru the impersonal government (whose agencies I suspect are much staffed by idealistic former college students work to have the remainder of their college debth "forgiven" by working for 10 years in the government or secular "non-profit," and making all 120 payments).
This ethos applies not only to material welfare, but position and power. When 60-70's radicals took over university administration offices in their "Occupy movements," their basic premise for their rebellion was that the admin and at least local government needed to "share the wealth" with the liberal enlightened elite. Later Occupy movements in defiance of laws manifested the power they had obtained, as well as by having actually obtained the power of position by the aforementioned psychological tactics in their strategy to obtain power, which again, much relied on pathos, versus sound ethos.
Now we should know that we do not actually wrestle "against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Ephesians 6:12)
And the spiritual source of what is described above is no other than the devil, who seeks worship under the premise that he is justly worthy of what God receives (though his actions only show he only worthy of damnation), and must reason that his rebellion against God is just, that God is unjust for not sharing the wealth, and for punishing rebels.
For what do we see in the original "Occupy movement" of the devil, presuming as a thief to climb "up some other way" (cf. John 10:1) saying, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. (Isaiah 14:13-14)
While no one is actually worthy to even site with God or can be like the most High in all His power and glory, yet the Lord who rewards God-enabled and inspired obedience of God-given faith, promises that "To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne." (Revelation 3:21)
However, "every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted," (Luke 18:14) and thus the devil had to eat dust as it were. Yet, as the devil still sought power, and man was given the earth to manage, thus the devil came to Eve and basically told Eve that she was being victimized by God who selfishly refused to "share the wealthy," that of being like God in knowledge. Along with this was the denial that disobedience would result in punishment by death, which is also akin to the liberal aversion to it.
Thus enticed and deceived, that she was wronged by being kept from what was rightfully hers, and thus would be justified by obtaining this Divine attribute by rebellion, then she ate of the Forbidden fruit, and then Adam wrongly went along with his wife .
Now we have approx. 6,000 years of history testifying to the devil's "nation building," obtaining degrees of power and implicit worship via his proxy servants, whether it be Stalin or Bernie Sanders.
Usually they first appeal to people who ot some degree truly are victims, but the latter rarely see any of these self-proclaimed liberators sacrificially giving to them, and which would be contrary to the ethos that such are victims of capitalist types, and whose success is to be penalized by increasingly burdening them with supporting the oppressed. But which class, as seduced by the victim-entitlement mentality, increase, thus increasing dependence upon government for all, leading (if unchecked) to a dictatorship, which is the devil's goal.
Moreover, the demonic alternative world in which he is effectively worshiped is not that which is only deceived by the aforementioned perversion of God's means of obtaining blessing vs. punishment, or mercy, grace and merit, but by perverting what God has morally ordained, no only by replacing worship of the Creator with that of the Created, but by making sanctioning sexual relations outside marriage, and making marriage to include as btwn those of the same biological gender, versus marriage btwn opposites being the only sanctioned context for sexual relations. Perversions of other spiritual commands and those as regards humans follow.
And as the end is not good, thus we seek to persuade others to "Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding." (Proverbs 9:6)
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (Revelation 20:10)
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. (Matthew 25:46)
