Well, they’re already outraged, and they have already announced they have planned those investigations, regardless of what happens.
What’s good for the gander is good for the goose.
So if Mueller is investigating Trump with a fine tooth comb, looking under every rock, then it’s equally fair that the DOJ can appoint another investigator to go after the Clinton Foundation with the same mission.
For Trump to achieve this kind of public leverage, I suspect Mueller will be at his job for a very long time.
And I suspect some on Mueller’s investigation team will be indicted by investigation #2.
