The graphic was splashy by the Census Bureau’s standards and it showed an unmistakable moment in America’s future: the year 2044, when white Americans were projected to fall below half the population and lose their majority status. The presentation of the data disturbed Kenneth Prewitt, a former Census Bureau director, who saw it while looking through a government report. The graphic made demographic change look like a zero-sum game that white Americans were losing, he thought, and could provoke a political backlash.
So after the report’s release three years ago, he organized a meeting with Katherine Wallman, at the time the chief statistician for the United States.
“I said ‘I’m really worried about this,’” said Dr. Prewitt, now a professor of public affairs at Columbia University. He added, “Statistics are powerful. They are a description of who we are as a country. If you say majority-minority, that becomes a huge fact in the national discourse.”

Is there a point you are stumbling toward? The Irish did use to vote Democrat overwhelmingly, now it is spit 50-50. As groups become more economically and culturally assimilated they become more conservative.

The first generation of each successive Asian-refugee mass-migration, such as the 1970s Vietnamese Boat People, hated Communists and by extension, their apologists, tended conservative, voted Republican, worked hard to build small businesses, and scraped and sacrificed to give their children better lives.
More than any other demographic, they drummed into their kid's heads 24x7 the importance of education. "WHAT?!? You got a B in Algebra??? You *like* bringing shame on our family?"
The kids were the valedictorians and with their scholarships combined with their parents' savings, they got into the best colleges and continued working their butts off to become highly paid doctors & engineers.
But just as with White parents, they chose to avert their eyes from what was gradually happening to their children's politics.
"Well yeah, ok, so my kid now votes Democrat, and he goes on annual pilgrimages to Saul Alinsky's & Howard Zinn's tombs. But hey, he pulls down a 6-figure salary! So it evens out".

The entire concept of "hispanic ethnicity" is so farcical it had to have been invented by a non-hispanic liberal. As if a blond-haired, blue-eyed lawyer from Uruguay has any shared ethnic solidarity with a migrant farmhand mestizo in southern California. They both celebrate Christmas and that's about it. Even the dialects of Spanish they each speak are so different as to practically be unintelligible to one another. Yet as far as liberals are concerned, they are both equally oppressed and deserving of special status.
The left doesn't want to eliminate white people. They need us to fund everything. They just want us to have no say about it. Kinda like Zimbabwe, except successful.

not published much but Trump took in more Christian Syrians than muslim last year.

The fear I have, and I dont let it ruin my days cause what’s the point, is that after Trump, whether it’s 2 years or 6 years, we go back to an @#$@# in the white house and as the schools indoctrinate more legions and the aliens pour in, we will be permanently outnumbered
But we Italians voted maybe 90 percent dem once too.
Then around the late 60s, from what I understand, a lot of italians realized they were just being used by dems for a vote and got sick of identity politics.
We don’t vote like Protestants but we were good for 56 percent Trump on staten island and at worse are a wash sometimes.
Don’t know why only 56 percent, to be honest, but we have a lot of obama’s folks out here too.
