After years of saying he would never run for any political office, radio talk-show host Rush Limbaugh is now open to the possibility, even if its the White House.
Im not flat-out saying no. Im gonna have to reassess it at some point, Limbaugh said in the final moments of his Wednesday broadcast when a caller urged him to seek the presidency once President Donald Trump has completed his service to the nation.
I am deeply flattered, Limbaugh said of the suggestion. Before Trump it would not have been possible.
Limbaugh was acknowledging that Trump has pushed back so well against his political opponents, including the media, it has opened the door for a conservative such as himself to consider the idea.

I’m with you re: being too far gone, but POTUS repeatedly tells us never to give up, never to quit, etc. I think he’ll stay true to his own words...
I agree. I used to hear the left wingers and gop moderates talk about the far right wing kooks and I would automatically assume they are just putting down conservatives. Then I started examining what the conservatives who believe the q believe in. It is eye opening to say the least. We no longer corner the market when it comes to intelligence or common sense. Who would have thought.
Still more opaque than your glass of wine.
No. Being stupid and ignorant and then publicizing it is no way to go thru life.
Its not even a little bit entertaining. Its just sad and pathetic that there are such losers and that they are on our side.
I wish him well. Go for it, Rush.
I take it you guys can’t be bothered to read past the headline.
Lets run through this so we get it down good.
The sixties brought in everything that went against the greatness of this country.
Remember?
Most Americans dont like their country being taken from them, whether by force or by cultural Marxism.
Rush saw the demand for traditional Americanism. He talked about it all the time. Rush was a businessman. But he was just a pacifier for Americans who were demanding their country back. He was all talk.
Trump, on the other hand is more than talk.
He won’t rule in the chance either. :)
With that i agree.
Its not even a little bit entertaining. Its just sad and pathetic that there are such losers and that they are on our side.
See, here is the dilemma.
First, you are really powerless to change one facet or neuronal impulse turned to typewritten transmission of thought onto these pages.
Second, attempting reasonable discourse merely encourages more of what it is that you find so, so sad, and pathetic.
Therefore, the actual real choices are either to click on another thread (and chance similar exposure) or sit back and marvel at the intellect, the sheer brilliance one must possess to coalesce such thoughts out of the ether.
Now, if you do decide not to click away, but instead scroll for additional comment, entertainment value is there.
The article does say AFTER Trump.

You just keep on keeping on.
I wish you all the success.
Both times.
Actually you are right in a sort of obtuse fashion. Sometimes people are so clueless and dense that they are entertaining. Not that it says much for the intellectual quotient of our movement.
Sorry, youre right!!
I have to say, however, when Rush went to the Texas Trump rally, I was surprised that Rush seemed somewhat unpolished. Of course he doesnt speak from a teleprompter. But compared to Trump, he seemed rough around the edges, and that really surprised me.
Ive just come to enjoy so much how Trump speaks at his rallies.. The teleprompter is his topic roadmap, but when he goes offroad four-wheeling, thats when the rallies are the most fun. Hes great on and off teleprompter.
Trump is completely unafraid of the @h*le fake news media. I love watching Trumps press conferences. In spite of the Rat media rudeness and nasty confrontational ways, he answers their questions directly and succinctly, and b*tch-slaps the worst reporters like Acosta and Ghettopotamus April Ryan.
i like David Webb; but Rush also
My concluding statements:
1. The sixties were bad for America.
2. Limbaugh was inert.
3. Trump is making America great again
The president has a good polished rap, but he has practice.
Rush used to deliver the same way long ago on his tours.
I saw im at one, and he was smooth for two hours.
However, he did seem out of his element at that rally.
I chalk it up to extreme nervousness, sharing the stage with the President of the USA (which was quite an honor in and of itself)
Rush never declareswhich is smart. But I get your point. The strongest hint of an endorsement I ever heard him give was for Governor Scott Walker.
