After years of saying he would never run for any political office, radio talk-show host Rush Limbaugh is now open to the possibility, even if it’s the White House.
“I’m not flat-out saying no. I’m gonna have to reassess it at some point,” Limbaugh said in the final moments of his Wednesday broadcast when a caller urged him to seek the presidency once President Donald Trump has completed his service to the nation.
“I am deeply flattered,” Limbaugh said of the suggestion. “Before Trump … it would not have been possible.”
Limbaugh was acknowledging that Trump has pushed back so well against his political opponents, including the media, it has opened the door for a conservative such as himself to consider the idea.

Mike Pence won’t like that. However Rush could offer to make Mike a VP for another 8 years. After 16 years as VP he will be the most experienced VP ever.
Isn’t Rush just about deaf?
As impressive and compelling as Rush can be, I don’t think the presidency can be won by a deaf candidate at this point in history. I don’t know how much hearing has been restored by his cochlear implant.
Serving in some cabinet position or as an Ambassador, that I could see.
Failing to specify when he’s thinking of running defines this as a trial balloon for 2020.

Probably trolling, but proves can point I’ve made several times: Trump changed everything. If he quit tomorrow his legacy would be incredible.
I’ve listened to him since August 1988. Rush is controlled by no one.

Rush was a Marco Rubio butt boy during primary season leading up to 2016. Never had a good word for Trump. Never.
And don't forget Rush ate dinner with the Gang of Eight (Schumer, Rubio, McCain, Lindsay Graham etc.) in NYC where he allowed them to influence him to squelch opposition to Immigration Reform on his show. We would never have known about this except the NY Times outed him.
And if he appears to be pro-Trump now, it is only to fatten his wallet.
Rush Limbaugh is a dyed-in-the-wool phony.
