Indigs slaughtered each other with abandon. At least us white men gave them a common target.

Indigs lost the culture war. Stone age can’t compete with steel producers.

The native Americans didn’t need schooling on racism from Europeans. The slaughtered adjacent tribes and took their lands many times before the whites came.

As though the native Americans have done so well for themselves anyway. Go to any reservation and see depression everywhere. It ain’t white man’s fault.

In 1492 had the natives not welcomed Columbus and instead fought him away
makes one wonder what the world would be like today. Not just here in North
America but across the entire globe.

Human beings are not native to the western hemisphere, the first walked here from Asia, hence the Indians looked Asian. Meanwhile, they lived idyllic lives with peace among the tribes, scientific advances, flourishing arts and music, technology and first class education for all. They better fall down on their knees and thank God that Europeans arrived here and made this land into the wonder of the world.

As a direct descendant of the Mayflower pilgrims, may I be the first to say NOT SORRY.

Maybe they would have fared better under the Spanish Conquistadors. Some how I doubt it.

As an American Indian, my husband is very thankful to God, today, for many things: his family, his country, the values his parents instilled in him. He is very patriotic, and his gratitude to our armed forces over the years, is great. Does he mourn the lives of ancestors and other fellow Indians, lost in the conflicts between the government and settlers? Or course. Just as we southerners and northerners are saddened by our ancestors’ civil war losses. But it does not diminish the love and support he has for our country, and its greatness. He is also a loud and proud supporter of President Trump. Many of his relatives do not agree with him about some of those things, which grieves him, but he is firm in his love for America in general, as well as other American Indians. It is possible to love and respect both.

The entrance of the white man in North America helped to stop the canibalistic practices of the natives. Massasoit made a pact with the Pilgrims by necessity. The Wampanoag tribe was in danger of being eaten by other tribes in New England

Right, because it was a veritable Garden of Eden in the Western hemisphere before the Europeans showed up.....or so we’re led to believe.

I bet more white liberal activists show up for this gathering than Injuns.

A small number of self righteous, leftist native Americans are mourning. The majority by far I’m sure are watching football, eating turkey, and celebrating time with their families.

And being thankful.

Columbus Day and now Thanksgiving are outrages to Native Americans. Who will soon be offended by Independence Day and Memorial Day? Certainly Arbor Day and Groundhog Day must sooner or later piss off some group or another.

They’d all be extinct if it weren’t for the European and American White Men and Women, and our inventions and discoveries. Their choice not to assimilate is a poor choice.

Boo-freaking-hoo, folks.

Knock off your whining about history. It’s over, and yes, even YOU have plenty about which to be thankful.

What Indians can be thankful for...

Wheat flour, rye, rice, barley, oats, beef, chicken, sheep, pork, cheese, iron, steel, brass, bronze, horses, wheels wagons, lard for fry bread, plus the fact that the tribe next door, which was once your enemy, is not planning to attack and kill every man, woman, and child, in your village.

Yeah, Thanksgiving was not about Indians.

I can’t wait to see how they blame Christmas and New Years as holidays celebrating genocides.

Idiots.

Pilgrims were one of the only settlements that purchased land from Indian tribes instead of taking it.
