Last week, as a freshman class filtered through the halls of Congress for orientation, Fox News sounded the alarm about four of the elected members and the “radical new Democratic ideas” they’d come to advance: free health care, free college, the abolishment of ICE and an infrastructure project designed to address impending climate catastrophe that they’re calling the “Green New Deal.”

Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts and New York’s Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are emblematic of a midterm election in which more women, more people of color and more progressives were elected than ever before. All four also happen to be Justice Democrats, a group that’s quickly gained currency under the leadership of a handful of determined alumni from Bernie Sanders’ 2016 campaign.

What the left considers ‘justice’, or ‘social justice’, is actually the nascent root of eventual totalitarianism. The biggest advances that have ever occurred in the course of human political history are the establishment of freedom and self-determinism as rights, the recognition that government of any sort carries the risk of suppression of freedom and the establishment of a ruling class, and the acknowledgment that no person has the right to control another’s life and compel them to be something they do not choose to be.

Without freedom and the right to ones individual identity and self-determinism, we are all slaves.

Sanders supporters are still real unamused.....they hallucinated into thinking establishment Dems would keep their promises after stealing the nomination from Bernie and him selling out. And what about the conservative 'pubs still there? Paul Ryan threw the HOR majority for his masters, but it does seem that Deplorables did better keeping and getting seats in the US Senate and HOR than the traitors did.

I can't envision how this plays out....a more Deplorable US Senate, with a few more Republican US Senators and an HOR that even if they accomplish anything it won't become law.

And once again, the left shows how it tries to force everyone who looks a particular way to engage in group think. If you are a woman, you must think and believe x, y, and z, or else. No independence of thought or action is allowed. Of course, those who buy into the premise that people must rabidly embrace the socialist agenda because of their appearance are doing everything they can to stamp out freedom and individuality, all while claiming to be for "diversity."

These are not true leaders, in the sense that they have no vision. They are merely carrying on the legacy of Soviet moles who inserted themselves into academia and entertainment decades ago. Socialism has failed the people, but it never fails those in charge. They get power over people's lives, which is only made sweeter by the fact that their lives are so much better than those of the riff-raff--who are riff-raff only because of the destructive policies inherent in socialism.

They aren’t “socialists” because that is a political attitude dreamed up by white Europeans; they are simply angry non-whites putting a label on their theft scheme.

Maybe Pressley has a claim to citizenship. The others are foreigners who have NO claim on our country and definitely have NO business being in our Congress and writing laws for us. There is NOTHING in the Constitution that says we have to tolerate enemy aliens pretending to be “us”.
