It has been a nightmare for so many people. So devastating. Many in the Camp Fire area didn’t even have homeowners insurance because it was so expensive. Those who did will most likely not be insurable after this. Very sad.
It’s just horrible. And with the price of homes in CA, even if they did have insurance, it probably won’t even cover a down payment.
I just can’t imagine going from my retirement dream home to the Walmart parking lot. Or worse...dead in my car. Heartbreaking.
