Truly great disasters come like a thief in the night. How many foresaw Rome’s sacking in 410 A.D., her collapse 66 years later, WWI or WWII? As for today, how many see that the United States is at what some call a tipping point, what others may call a Fourth Turning? Whatever you call it, the American republic is in its last days. This is too scary for many to contemplate, but there’s something far scarier: playing ostrich and not being prepared for things to come.
The so-called Left, ever violent since its French Revolution birth and as power hungry as ever, wholly controls the culture: the media, mainstream and social; academia; and entertainment. This means it controls long-term politics, since the latter is downstream of culture. So is big business, mind you, which is why the Left controls most of it as well; this, of course, translates into funding.
Trump’s 2016 victory will not MAGA; it was merely a stay of execution, a prolonging of the inevitable. This should have been obvious in a country that could elect Barack Obama and then, like the Titanic having backed up to hit the iceberg again, re-elect him. If it wasn’t, it should be obvious now that the Democrats have seized the House in a Watergate-level rout.

Secondly, the primary dividing characteristic has always been IQ. The founders' mistake was assuming by overthrowing the monarchy, that government would be managed by intelligent & rationale individuals ie people such as themselves. Wrong - it was/is a simple matter for the financial/media conglomerates to merely advance open franchise and vote dilution among the LIVs. Then, since they control the levers of information, persuade the masses that it was virtuous to raid the public purse.
However, as gene therapies are applied to growing/(re)shaping brains, by adding/expanding critical components that govern planning, impulse control and a host of other virtuous characteristics, what happens to the base appeal to the mob, when the mob may no longer exist?
Lastly, history isn't static. There are countless example of civilizations failing, and then reappearing once again, driven by the same fundamental factors that founded this country.
This article puts into print what I have been thinking for months.

The only criticism I’ll give the author is that he mentions xxx conservative voters dying, xxx liberal voters turning 18; but fails to mention xxx voters waking up in their 30s and converting to conservatism.
This is exactly what will happen.

Yep.. and many of those women vote with their feelings more than cranial cells. Emotions are a powerful thing; remember the soccer moms and their infatuation with Clinton and later Obama. It was an emotional bond for sure.

Agree. Trump is a speed bump on the way to the dissolution of the country. Doesn't mean we don't fight, but we also need to be realistic and have a plan B.

They can’t be. It’s city vs country throughout. Even in Indiana, perhaps the most reliably red state - Indianapolis, Bloomington, and East Chicago are blue and the rest is red.
Exactly, the Machine has the weapons to steal any election they choose which is within 50k votes.
They are well organized and have NO fear of prison as the GOP-e is busy attacking their base.
Unless something changes very quickly, I can see NO path which leads to Trump reelection.
It is time for all FR members to assess their personal safety and direction.
