Retired Adm. William McRaven on Sunday stood by his previous statement that President Donald Trump's attacks on the news media represent "the greatest threat to democracy" after the President dismissed him as a "Hillary Clinton backer" in an interview that aired on Fox News.

McRaven knows as well as anybody that the media lie. After all, he also knows OBL was dead for years before the famous “raid” and that’s why the witnesses were killed off.
The media is not sacrosanct!!!
He doesn’t attack “the” media. He attacks specific outlets that righteously deserve it and have for a very long time.

The biggest threat to the Constitution is a news media that is more than 99 percent in the pockets of a single political party.
What causes a leader of Navy SEALs to turn out like this ? Anyone from that community have any idea ?

So when Obama criticized Fox News, that threatened the Constitution.
I’m having trouble finding the passage in the constitution which says the President cannot criticize the media. Perhaps he can point out that section of the constitution for me.

Was he nothing but a water carrier for the Obama regime? Obama had eight years to plant his corrupt staff throughout the military.
Has McRaven explained exactly how an attack on a corrupt and dishonest news media is a threat to democracy? Is not an unfair and biased press the bigger threat? Without an honest press that practices responsible journalism we have no democracy. Indeed, a corrupt press is the enemy of the people.
Retired Adm. William McRaven should do everything in his power to show the dishonest press the errors in their ways, and thus help them to become again the fair, responsible, informative, and objective contributors to democracy.
Can the retired admiral lead the press away from its deceptive and biased culture, instead of making a fool of himself and tarnishing the reputation of our valiant retired military?
