Young men have had so many laws, rules, restrictions and assumptions forced upon them that I can’t say I blame them for avoiding sexual contact that has turned into a legal minefield. Young women, well, for all the bluster about empowerment it appears that they love scaring each other to death with tales of horror and woe about harassment and sexual abuse, and so they’re not doing anything but running their mouths about how very sexual they are, they’re afraid to do anything else. A lot of sexually frustrated young people out there. Not a good recipe, that energy will find an outlet. Always does.
Probably the thing that broke my heart most to hear in a lifetime was to hear my son in his late 30s say “I’m glad I don’t have children.” The name we share ends with him. A name our family proudly sent to War every time called upon all the way back to 1776 and before. I didn’t have the stomach to comment. I have been here, shoulder to shoulder with freepers for decades fighting the good fight but now I have to ask, “For what?”
Women that kill support killing babies are just a carcass of a human being. They’ve given up their own humanity in the process.
