In the Florida election mess of 2018, her name has become infamous.
And Sunday evening, Broward County Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes has submitted her resignation, just hours after completing a high-profile recount.
“It is true. She did send it,” Burnadette Norris-Weeks, an attorney who works as counsel to elections office told the Sun-Sentinel.

You forgot to add that the Florida Governors Bush and Scott were a bit cowardly and therefor negligent in their duties towards the Voters in their states.
Had they not be cowardly they would have at the least tried to remove her from office years ago. Win, lose, or draw, they should have made the attempt.
Instead they allowed the situation to fester and we saw a rehash of a Recount From Hell.
And NOW that she’s resigned, they will not push it any further. So basically, the Democrats got away with the mess they created.

One crooked and incompetent Democrat down and out, so many more to go. Time for the Republicans in Florida to clean house with dynamite and Ex-Lax.
Set up grand juries and let them loose.
I once worked for the Republican congressman from Broward County many decades ago. He was a good man. Today a “good, honest Democrat man or woman” in Broward etc. is a rare as a July snow in Miami.
That is thanks to the corrupt, powermad Democrats and spineless Republicans like Jeb Bush.
We can, and MUST do better for America’s sake and survival.
The goal is to turn Florida and/or Texas as they snipe state after state. It’s a blue blob slime that is closing in.
She should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law to serve as an example of what corruption will bring. If she gets away with this, the 229 elections will be even more corrupt.
Jeb Bush appointed Snipes to the position in 2003.

Today she is mainly worried about going to jail what she did needed many low level staffers. They will talk to keep out of jail.

Is there no cause of action for a civil rights violation here? No matter which candidate you voted for or which candidate won, how many thousands of people were disenfranchised by her actions? Whether by calculation or incompetence, people were denied the right to vote and have their vote counted.
Which is of course what the left has been crowing about these past weeks. The left decries voter ID laws as some kind of intimidation that denies some people access to a ballot. How is that any different than meddling with the votes after they have been cast?
If people can sue over the question of accessing a ballot, why couldn’t they also sue over the gross mishandling of the ballots? It would of course be worse if the relevant authorities intentionally tried to manipulate the count; but the fact that nearly every other district in the country is able to competently count the votes in timely manner is evidence of gross negligence on the part of these two counties. The fact that these two counties are geographically adjacent and are managed by people with common political affiliation simply makes it more suspicious than simple incompetence can explain. What are the odds that the two most incompetent counties in the country have overlapping area codes?
Did she send in a real resignation, or a provisional one?
