Lord, even with all the shortcomings of our nation and the divisive and destructive events of the past and present, we are still a very blessed people. We thank You, Father, as we come together with family and friends across America this week to remember all the blessings that You shower upon us. Help us to keep the spirit of thankfulness every day of every year, Lord; for a grateful heart is pleasing to You.

Thanking You in advance, all-powerful Father, for healing the many broken hearts and broken lives from the California wildfires. Be with our first responders there, and at our border, in Jesus' name. Amen!

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing,
