Based on my experiences living here in the Intermountain West most of the LDS’ers I’ve met are good conservatives. OTOH, there’s Harry Reid, Jeff Flake, Kristen Sinema, Mittens

There are a few decent conservative mormon politicians but I think you are right - the majority of mormon politicians are evil leftards.

It seems like people who aspire to be politicians live towards the bottom of the barrel in general.
