Is that happening now? AG Whitaker made an official DOJ statement right after he became acting AG that only those who enter at legal entry points can even apply for asylum. Anyone illegally entering cannot apply for asylum. It was the new policy from that day of statement from what I remember.
30 asylum seekers a day is what I heard.
10,000 extra people show up in Tijuana and that town is not going to be comfortable for a while. They are going to have to feed them and house them, give them medicine and put up with their crime etc.
Mexican government may have to finally deal with this crisis instead of putting it off on the USA as usual. It’s the only way they will change their attitude.
