Tijuana Mayor Juan Manuel Gastelum said Thursday that caravan migrants arriving by the hundreds are no longer welcome, an increasingly common sentiment among residents of the Mexican border city.
Gastelum described the caravan of Central American migrants as a “horde” that has been infiltrated by criminals who now threaten the community, in an interview with Milenio Television.
“Tijuana is a city of immigrants, but we don’t want them in this way,” the mayor, a member of the conservative National Action Party, said. “It was different with the Haitians, they carried papers, they were in order. It wasn’t a horde, pardon the expression.”
Gastelum called on the Mexican government to deport the caravan migrants as soon as possible.
“You’re going to tell me we have to respect human rights,” he said. “But human rights are for law-abiding humans.”
The mayor’s comments reflected anger among many Tijuana residents at the increasing number of caravan migrants who have been streaming into the city since last weekend. About 3,000 were there as of Thursday night, and thousands more are expected to arrive over the coming weeks.

30 asylum seekers a day is what I heard.
10,000 extra people show up in Tijuana and that town is not going to be comfortable for a while. They are going to have to feed them and house them, give them medicine and put up with their crime etc.
Mexican government may have to finally deal with this crisis instead of putting it off on the USA as usual. It’s the only way they will change their attitude.
PDJT is showing them the way to secure their own Southern border. Gravy train is now limited for all South of our borde.

Funny how the potential ‘illegal US entrants’ were citing their ‘rights’ in the US.

Only until the hoards started landing in the upper class parks and neighborhoods.....they were the ones who were yelling in the streets telling the hoards they weren’t wanted ,to get out and return back to their country.
How long will it take until MSM, DEEP STATE, and the UN turn this caravan horde into a “HUMANITARIAN CRISIS”?
Liz.....looking closer you will discover the reason the Mayor is saying these things is because the hoards were in the affluent neighborhoods and parks...only then was there an outcry against the people going into THEIR neighborhoods....so the Mayor had no choice but to call for deportation and change his tune.

Heck the one TV news reporter from Mexico was lying thru his teeth on national TV and called out even while he spoke.....didn't phase him a bit from saying what he wanted to because news is all about getting their message and propaganda out....not news that's really happening. Our media has always done this but now insanely so.....they 'OWE' too much to do otherwise.

Hey, we don’t want them either. Let them sit there for six months until we have time to get to them. They’ll eventually go back from where they came or they’ll commit crimes and end up in a Mexican prison.
