As the hand recount in Floridas contentious Senate election got underway in Broward County, it quickly became clear that Democrats were headed for a bad day. This is the county where incumbent Democrat Bill Nelson needed to net thousands of new votes on Friday. But minutes into the recount, that became unlikely.
Broward County is at the center of Nelsons hopes for defeating Republican Rick Scott, who currently leads by fewer than 13,000 votes, because there were tens of thousands of ballots in the county that registered no vote in the Senate race. Because Broward is a heavily Democratic county, the Nelson campaign had hoped that those so-called undervotes were actually votes for Nelson that the tabulating machines had skipped over. But on Friday morning, it quickly became apparent that this was not the case.
Instead, its likely ballot design that put a significant dent in Nelsons vote totals here in Broward County, and may have cost him the race. The Senate candidates were listed right under the instructions on the ballot, and voters moving quickly could easily have overlooked that race.

A feel good story.
and when Mother Jones throws in the towel...
I think the Dems overplayed their hand here. In desperation to keep their losses in the Senate to a minimum they exposed part of their scheme to steal the 2020 presidential race. Will the hapless GOP sit on their hands as usual and do nothing to combat this? The answer is of course no because the leadership of the party is still globalist and anti-Trump. They want the president to lose as badly as the Democrats do!
He lost because stupid voters couldn’t figure out where to mark the ballot? Over 8 million people were able to figure it out. People that stupid shouldn’t vote in the first place.

Yeah, sure.
Well, they have been electing Brenda Snipes since Yeb! appointed her and this is not the first bad ballot design.
It’s the ballots fault...got it.
Scott needs to fire Snipes and appoint a good replacement ASAP.

I’d say the answer to that question is yes.
Precisely for the reasons you mentioned, they want to keep the Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA) alive.
DeSantis 1st official act should be to begin proceedings to remove her...and her crony pals.
It better be better than the appointment that Yeb! made in 2002, Brenda Snipes.
Hope fades for Bill Nelson as hope SOARS for Florida.
Gillum got one more vote in a recount & won’t concede.
Hellary set the double standard.
Saved,at least temporarily, from the fetid scourge of socialism.
Hopefully, the anti gun rights Democrat Ag Commissioner candidate who would be in charge of issuing gun permits will fail too.
So it’s the Butterfly Ballots 2.0 not that a bunch of black voters didn’t care which white dude won. Got it.
"Not to worry guys.....with a beloved president like me campaigning for you, you'll slaughter Scott and DeSantis."
My question is, how is this going to be prevented in the future, especially 2020?
You know what I answered my own question wrong! Gees, lol. Of course I meant to say yes theyll sit on their hands and do nothing, and hope people forget about all this when DeSantis and Scott are finally declared the winners in Florida!
ping
DeSantis needs to remove both Snipes and Bucher as soon as the election is certified. Get competent, non-corrupt people in both counties.
Scott should fire snipes for causing Nelson to lose by her poorly designed ballots....hahahaha
