Robert = “Beto” to appeal to Hispanics. Rafael = “Ted” to appeal to gringos.

[ Texas Senate Election Results: Beto O’Rourke vs. Ted Cruz ]

Huh. The liberals at the New York Times listed Beto O’Fake first.

Imagine that.

Ted Cruz is an idiot

He should have won this with 10-15 point cushion, easy

Beto was a nobody who wanted to gun control and a whole ton of crap that Texans wound’t go for

What happened?

Trump supporters did not come out as they would have if Ted wasn’t a giant idiot with a ego to match

If Ted wasn’t an idiot, we wouldn’t have had to spend a boat load of cash to save his seat. Think about other elections we could have won with that waste of money.

Ted doesn’t care about republicans, republican voters, or his constituents and he proved that in 2016. His numerous cry baby stunts made him look like a total buffoon in the end.

There are some really stupid voters, irrespective of voter fraud. Tarrant County is Republican controlled, so gross ballot box stuffing, South Florida style, was not likely, yet Beto O'Rourke won that county by 4,000 votes while Lupe Valdez, the Democrats' gubernatorial candidate. lost it by 57,000 votes. About 623,000 votes were cast in Tarrant County, so 61,000 voters, or almost 10%, voted for the Republican Greg Abbott for Governor but switching to O'Rourke for Senator.

Valdez was poorly funded and ran no TV ads, while O'Rourke plastered TV with ads, as well as yard signs and a big social media presence. The power of a $70 million budget is evident. While he lost, the Democrats flipped two U.S. House seats and a significant number of seats in the State Legislature. From their standpoint, the money was well spent.

Bob visited all 254 counties in Texas, and the vast majority of most of them are red.

Bob would not have gotten anywhere near off the ground had it not been for 3 billionaires:

George Soros, Tom Steyer and his own father-in-law.

In the MOST expensive Senate race in history, Bob still lost.

Conspiracy theory warning!

Does anybody else think that the Rats might be placing Libertarian candidates in races just to split the GOP vote?

The GOP should invest some money in running Green Party candidates that would split the Rat vote.

What's the difference between Beto Burrito and Taco Bell "Mexican" food?

None. There is no difference.

and this is with Ted not being popular, and Beto and the Dem’s cheating.
If you doubt the Dems cheated, https://www.star-telegram.com/news/politics-government/election/article220540115.html

this is the tip of the iceberg.

No surprise nobody has heard about it.

Believe me, most conservative Texas voters (which thankfully were the majority) cast their ballots against Beto and less for Cruz.....who is smart, a good senator, great debater etc. but not a likable candidate. Unfortunately, “likeability” has become a much more significant electoral factor than it should be.

So, if the Libertarian (spoiler as usual) wasn’t running, Cruz would have beat Beto by 300,000 Votes. Got it.

If it hadn’t been for DJT helping him out, Cruz would have had his @ss kicked. I hope he appreciates this.
