I think you’re right. The runoff is Nov. 27.
As I understand it, some “conservatives” are still so pissed off that Cruz lost in ‘16 that they won’t vote GOP now. If that’s the case, Cruz and Trump MUST go there in person, explain to the idiots what is at stake, and change some minds. We need a heavy “R” turnout to get this Senate seat, too.
We can pretty much assume that there is some underhanded Rat stuff going on there, quietly and under the radar, to cheat to get this seat. The GOP there, and the RNC, need to have attorneys already in place to counter what we know will happen.
“Democrats in Mississippi are hoping to pull off an upset in the November 27 Senate runoff election between GOP nominee Sen. Cyndy Hyde-Smith (R-MS) and Democrat nominee former Rep. Mike Espy (D-MS).”

some conservatives are still so pissed off that Cruz lost in 16 that they wont vote GOP now.
As one of many former Cruz supporters who happily boarded the Trump train after Indiana, and am pleased that Trump has governed as a firm conservative, I don't think the correlation of SOME Cruz supporters remaining "Never Trumpers" has anything at all to do with Cruz.
There are also some Rubio, some Kasihites and a LOT of Bushies who remain "Never-Trumpers". Their Bark outperforms their Bite, and they are most effective when doling out money and working behind the scenes, sometimes with Democrats.
The Bill Kristols, Jeff Flakes, Bob Corkers and Jennifer Rubins of this world want to think of themselves as Republicans, but no ... neither they nor Christine Todd Whitman have a place in this Republican Party. It is not their party anymore. Chase them out. Lock the door, and who knows what kind of decent, non-globalists types we may now welcome... people who were repulsed by the Never Trumpers who are more interested in a pants crease or the right prep school than values.
