With the statewide machine recount finished, our margin of victory has increased by nearly 1000 votes. @SenBillNelson, its time to admit this race is over.

Mississippi gives us 53.
It was 51-49 prior to the election.
The Republicans pickups were IN, ND, MO, FL. R+4.
The Democrat pickups were NV and AZ. D+2.
Net is +2 with Mississippi.
51+2=53.

Ok, what I have seen is:
Scott: -606 / Nelson: 1,385 (Scott gains 779 votes)
DeSantis: -621 / Gillum: -1,373 (DeSantis gains 752 votes)
Reports are the 2,000-ish vote difference are a result of damaged ballots that need to be reproduced. Broward County will attempt to have those votes added to the total at a later date, according to USA Today reporting. Not sure how that plays out considering the timeline for reporting was 15:00 today.

Wise up do not reveal any gains until it’s over and especially do not give out a specific number.

When Nelson calls to concede, Scott should refuse the call as being beneath the dignity of the people of Florida (which is saying a lot, I understand.)

This is public information, transmitted to the State as part of the certification process. There isn’t any way to keep it “secret.”

some conservatives are still so pissed off that Cruz lost in 16 that they wont vote GOP now.
As one of many former Cruz supporters who happily boarded the Trump train after Indiana, and am pleased that Trump has governed as a firm conservative, I don't think the correlation of SOME Cruz supporters remaining "Never Trumpers" has anything at all to do with Cruz.
There are also some Rubio, some Kasihites and a LOT of Bushies who remain "Never-Trumpers". Their Bark outperforms their Bite, and they are most effective when doling out money and working behind the scenes, sometimes with Democrats.
The Bill Kristols, Jeff Flakes, Bob Corkers and Jennifer Rubins of this world want to think of themselves as Republicans, but no ... neither they nor Christine Todd Whitman have a place in this Republican Party. It is not their party anymore. Chase them out. Lock the door, and who knows what kind of decent, non-globalists types we may now welcome... people who were repulsed by the Never Trumpers who are more interested in a pants crease or the right prep school than values.

The count with FL is 52-47. MS is outstanding with a runoff coming up.

Somehow the Wisconsin SOS did it a few years ago when the Rats tried to recall the Chief Justice of their SC. The Rats did indeed find votes after they thought all were in and then the SOS released the numbers from a red county that she held back and the rats came up short. They screamed like hell but it worked.

good points. and the difference between all the people you named and cruz is that cruz IS a conservative.
I’m glad he’s back on the trump train and I’m sick of people on FR blaming him for stuff. we need to clean out the rino’s once and for all.
To: spacejunkie2001
I guess I'm an outlier in that I actually like Cruz personally-I met him and Heidi during their disastrous GMA "town hall" right before the Indiana primary-but dislike him politically.
That said, I'm glad he was reelected, and there are much bigger fish to fry for conservatives right now.

Broward and Miami Dade already submitted their recount results. Those are the two biggest counties in Florida. Palm Beach is all that’s left. Palm Beach was much closer than Miami Dade and Broward. Scott actually gained 60 votes in Miami Dade in the recount.
