With the statewide machine recount finished, our margin of victory has increased by nearly 1000 votes. @SenBillNelson, its time to admit this race is over.
53 in the Senate is a key number. It’s the sole reason that the Rats are so desperate in Florida.
53 eliminates Romney, MooCowSki and Collins from the equation on judges.
There aren’t really any other GOP Senators that I would be too concerned about in another Supreme Court fight.
I expect the media to put a full court press on the Mississippi Special Election.
Heard Fox reporter and believe Scott gained votes in counting of under and over votes. But, think they still will do hand recount. Ridiculous and waste of our money. Nelson should stop this and retire already!
The Congressional Districts for the 2022 midterm election will be drawn by state legislators who are elected in 2020.
“...This will give us 53 Senate seats. If we swing Mississippi that will be 54?...”
Barely enough to overcome the evil RINO triad of Collins, Murwoski and Romney.
Cal spends 21 billion a year on services to illegals, I never vote for a tax or bond.
Lesson for Democrats. Sometimes counting every vote may not go your way. Concede with dignity and plan on winning the next election on the issues and not by cheating the people you want to govern.
curiously, what don’t you like about cruz politically?
The manual recount is about over and under votes .
We actually do know about how many undervotes that there are. Broward has the most. There is about a 30K undervote in Broward. The consensus is that most of it can be attributed to the wacky ballot design by the incompetent Clown Snipes.
The undervote was uniform countywide when you take into account the fact that there were uncontested Congressional races in some precincts.
Moreover, the undervote in Broward probably affected Scott and Nelson somewhat equally.
DeSantis received 10K more votes than Scott. Gillum received 10K more votes than Nelson.
Palm Beach had about 12K Undervotes. Miami Dade had about 10K.
There are approximately 45K undervotes scattered around the rest of the State.
Most of the undervotes will be true undervotes. These happen in every election.
. . . but you cant even trust them to couch the question such that No means NO. So Im told.
they must have missed the boxes in somebody’s van
Good. Can they finally have that corpseman Nelson’s funeral?
Florida Senate Race Triggers Hand Recount.
Democratic incumbent Bill Nelson trailed his Republican challenger, Florida Governor Rick Scott, by about 12,600 votes, or 0.15 percent of the more than 8 million ballots cast following an electronic recount. The razor-thin margin triggers a manual recount under state law.
Except, when Dr Snipes found out she was giving more votes to Scott, she made sure to turn them in 3 minutes late. So the old totals counted. Malice afore thought I would say. She had previously bragged about finishing the count with 12 minutes to spare.
This may actually be a case of racism. The elderly rich elitist east coasters in Broward and palm may have voted for Nelson but couldnt bring themselves to vote for a black man for governor. That would explain why senate race much closer than governors race
It was all an evil Republican plot. They planted the ballot box right where a schoolteacher with connections to the Broward Dem machine would find it. Thinking it was legitimate fake votes, she picked it up and ran with it to her local ward heeler, who naively assumed the same, and—surprise! it had Republican fake votes in it, NOT DEMOCRAT! SCOT CHEATED!!!! WAAAAH!
The AG Comm only runs the program. They can’t change the law. The FL Legislature is decidedly R...
Um...gerrymander.
Yeah, but those votes for Scott do not count because that horrible woman sent them 2 minutes late accidentally on purpose.
