So apparently McSally has lost. Was she even a married wkman? I was told that she was sexually ambiguous at best...aka lesbian. And Sinema definitely a known bisexual.
It’s hard to get excited about an election where both of the candidates are single and male deficient female deviants.
Sounds like a very good political move.
No thanks.
Been there; done that.
Endured the type; HATED it.
Look at her lackadaisical campaign style for goodness sakes! She’s not a fighter; she’s got no fire in the belly to take it to the eGOP, much less the Dems. She’s a bone-stock, live and let die, go along to get along, glad-handing across the aisle, establishment template, country club Republican. There’s ZILCH she offers that this country needs more of in the Senate.
Sorry.
Her kind’s been THROUGH here, and we’re the worse off for it.
So she knew she didn’t have to win to become Senator. No wonder the Trump-hating bitch nailed it in. Worst candidate ever.
Will they ever figure out all the fraudulent votes from illegals.
A fresh face is needed. She would be seen as an “also ran” at this point. If she wants to run again, she should run for her old House seat.
It wasn’t just her race - the GOP on the whole was caught flat-footed by the late avalanche of ads saying “Republicans want to take away your healthcare.” The fact we would not be prepared for that old predictable playbook is absurd...and we should be gone on offense against it - it was the Democrats who in fact took away healthcare - made high risk pools illegal, took away doctors, health plans, caused sky high deductibles causing people to pay for all of their pre-existing conditions out of pocket, etc. We had a very winnable argument that was not prepared for.
I suspect, however, if Kyl were to resign at the end of the year, McSally will be appointed to fill the seat. McSally would have been indeed an improvement over Jeff Flake, but a step down from Jon Kyl.
I wanted her to beat that commie, but if the Governor can pick anyone, then please pick a real R. Please!
I suspect that the phrase “the meth lab of democracy” will be around for a long time.
This was one of Vespa’s best analytical writing pieces. He described the problem, the circumstances against McSally winning, including running too defensive of a campaign, and the betrayal by the McCain/Flake turncoats.
I hope McSally, Sen. Kyle, and the governor make the right decision and put her back in Congress. It will give her another year or two to put together a major campaign organization, get “real” money funding, and take on whoever the Left is going to throw at her.
THIS TYPE OF ARTICLE IS EXACTLY WHAT REPUBLICANS/CONSERVATIVES NEED TO DO FOR EVERY CONGRESSIONAL RACE THEY LOST, THOSE THAT CAME TOO DAMNED CLOSE FOR COMFORT, AND WHAT THEY NEED TO DO TO ORGANIZE AND WIN IN THE FUTURE.
The Democrats, the so-called “party of the people” outspent Republicans where it counted, but it also exposed them as nothing but Rich, Liberal/Marxist “One-Percenters”, a theme that should be hammered on for every election from today.
Every Dem who self-identifies, or is identified as a “progressive” should be hit with two slogans. The first is by Mark Levin, namely “Progressivism is the bastard child of Marxism (with a capital “M”), and
David Horowitz’s “Inside of every liberal is an authoritarian screaming to get out”.
The imagery for portraying what these slogans say in POWERFUL if drawn/designed in the right manner.
Tie to regroup, rearm, refund, reorganize and take the offensive, as soon as possible.
Know your enemy. Identify their slogans, plans, leadership, organization, funding, etc. and if there is something there that is useful to us, COPY IT EVEN BETTER.
It is time for the Koch Brothers, Adelson, and other wealthy conservatives/liberaterians to realize that THEIR TIME IS LIMITED TOO.
Just wait to see what Dems have in-store for them. It will make the Inquisition and the Gulags look like Kindergarten recess.
No quitter. Kudos to Martha for her military servo, but if she can’t beat a dope like Sinema, let’s find a candidate with fight.
Arizona conservatives have been frustrated with their Republican senators for many years. Jeff Flake and John McCain campaigned as rock-ribbed right-wingers every six years only to vote with Democrats in DC on crucial issues.
Flake was a one-term senator, despised by both parties.
McCain was a RINO who served over 30 years. I dont think he ever had a close race. The last true Republican to be elected from Arizona was John Kyl. The state has historically elected democrats or wishy-washy republicans. Doucy should appoint Ward to McCains old seat. Its the only way shell become a senator from Arizona.
