Lack of sunspots to bring record cold, warns NASA scientist

“It could happen in a matter of months,” says Martin Mlynczak of NASA’s Langley Research Center. ________________

“The sun is entering one of the deepest Solar Minima of the Space Age,” wrote Dr Tony Phillips just six weeks ago, on 27 Sep 2018.

Sunspots have been absent for most of 2018 and Earth’s upper atmosphere is responding, says Phillips, editor of spaceweather.com.

Data from NASA’s TIMED satellite show that the thermosphere (the uppermost layer of air around our planet) is cooling and shrinking, literally decreasing the radius of the atmosphere.

To help track the latest developments, Martin Mlynczak of NASA’s Langley Research Center and his colleagues recently introduced the “Thermosphere Climate Index.”

The Thermosphere Climate Index (TCI) tells how much heat nitric oxide (NO) molecules are dumping into space. During Solar Maximum, TCI is high (meaning “Hot”); during Solar Minimum, it is low (meaning “Cold”).

“Right now, it is very low indeed … 10 times smaller than we see during more active phases of the solar cycle,” says Mlynczak

The Thermosphere Climate Index by Mlynczak and colleagues. Displays times of Cold, Cool, Neutral, Warm, and Hot since 1940.

Record cold in a matter of months

“If current trends continue, it could soon set a Space Age record for cold,” says Mlynczak. “We’re not there quite yet, but it could happen in a matter of months.”

I’m so glad that I can know the cause of the entire earth’s weather by my local weather here in Ithaca. AMAZING! Global warming is causing an unusual amount of “RAIN” all across the globe, just like here in Ithaca. /S

I am now with the idea that it was a deception with intent to throw the masses off guard for what is truly about to happen. It was meant to catch everyone with their pants down. False flag propaganda.

What better way for these radical extreme environmental cultists to reduce population numbers. We have to consider the source in all this, And these sources would rather see humanity go extinct than compromise one bit.

Don’t fool yourself “scientists “ will say this is caused by global warming climate change. The only solution is to transfer trillions to the Indians and Chinese or the the global warming sunspots will freeze us all to death. That rant of mine has Nobel Science Prize potential.

I believe it. Here in Michigan the temperature has already dropped over more than 50 degrees from what it was only 3 months ago.

CO2 [...] didn’t even EXIST before humans came along.

LOL!! And even then, it didn't exist until the 1980s when the first SUVs were developed.

"When I was a kid we had a coal pile out back for winter heat............"

We had a coal furnace, and we thought it was great being able to watch from the living room window, as the coal truck sent the coal down the chute to the basement coal bins. There were two, side by side in our basement.

Ah yes, black dust everywhere. Also, banking the old furnace early AM.

We didn’t have a basement, so it was piled out back.

I used to look for fossil leaves in the big chunks.............

"Also, banking the old furnace early AM."

My Dad got up at 5 a.m. every day to go to work (NY Central R.R.), and would make sure there was enough coal on the fire to last the day. My mother had no idea how to do it. I don't remember it, but my mother said that one time the fire went out, and my Dad had to come home from work in order to get it going again. I can still hear the sound of the door being opened and closed on that big, old furnace.

Ha...I remember that....and a horse-drawn coal cart.

2 shutes....one for us in the top floor apartment...and one for downstairs.

Each house in the row of 4 had a cement air raid shelter in the backyard.

Something to take a serious look at is the fact that the Earth has been frozen for 80% of climatic history, and only warm for 20% of our climatic history.

They are distracting from this very real scientific reality.

You mention a horse-drawn cart. Did you guys ever have a junk man, or what we used to call The Rag Man come around your neighborhood with a horse and cart to collect unwanted things along the side of the road?

I had a geology professor who describe the earth as

“The earth is an icy planet with periods of temperate conditions. That’s when civilization happens!”.
