The creators of the show “South Park” have issued a rare apology, reprising the character ManBearPig to make amends for a dis that is more than a decade old.
In a 2006 episode during season 10 of the animated series, Al Gore issues a stern warning to the students of South Park Elementary School about the “single biggest threat to our planet.” He was talking about ManBearPig, a creature meant to represent climate change...
“South Park” was effectively mocking the global issue at the center of “An Inconvenient Truth.”
Now, 12 years later, show creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker have orchestrated a mea culpa.
In this week’s episode, "Time to Get Cereal," the children discover Gore was right all along when the character Stan sees an attack. They seek Gore's help, which he provides, but not before they apologize for not taking him seriously years ago.

If anything, Gore can be shown as more of a charlatan, and more technically wrong now, after 10+ years of Global Warming prediction fails, and proof of corruption and fraud on his part and that of his coreligionists. South Park is on the way out, and this kind of decline is a symptom.

You’re right; every facet of entertainment ran interference for the idiot Obama, and even after Trump’s election they won’t highlight Obama’s role in the 2016 debacle. He was a horrible president, and Trump’s election made it official for the history books.
The makers of South Park (which I followed years ago) are serious in their opposition to abortion and harvesting baby parts, and have fit it into a few episodes.
And more “courage” from “artists.”
look at the episode as a allegory (all gore) man bear pig is Hillary Clinton the deal is voter fraud. Hillary Clinton gave everyone lots of cool stuff for there support. Man bear pig running amuck is the Clinton machine spazzing out over loosing the election. the negotiation in the last episode is more voter fraud... listen to the terms of in the last few minutes this is the voter fraud for the last election..
none of us believed al gore when he claimed that voter fraud lost him the election. there was a deal between the Clintons and the Bushes.
I said my piece....I am still a conservative and would of picked Bush over GORE but I believe we have to acknowledge how bad the last 30 years have been on the presidential side of politics.
It’s human nature. They want to fit in and be welcomed at Hollywood and Broadway Heal the world and make it a better place progressive cocktail parties.
So let’s make an episode saying that maybe man bear pig could be real and there is some weird stuff going on with weather and climate.
They want to fit in. Human beings are social animals.
