Bray-we are waiting to hear if two of our dearest friends made it out of Paradise Camp fire. So far, their children do not know where they are. When we moved from Northern CA, we asked our friends to consider getting out of CA and relocating somewhere else. For one reason or another, they elected to stay and they bought a beautiful home and property in Paradise CA. My husband and I have been in Search and Rescue for many years, and we tried to tell them that their new home had only 1-2 small access roads in and out of the area. If there was a fire, they would have problems getting out. Our hearts are broken tonight, because we think they did not get out. I could go on a rant about land management issues in CA ( one of many reasons we left), but tonight I am just mourning the loss of so many people in that beautiful area of Northern CA.
Oregon’s forests are in much worse shape than California’s.

When you are ready please do go into the poor mgmt. that most likely made the fire 10X worse that it should have been.Potus has already brought it up he’s up on everything.!!
