I agree with you that it must happen. But I fear the truth is that we are far from finding our way to a place where the law matters to everyone and is equally applied. In fact, I don't believe we can ever get there.

I say that in view of how we have all watched people like Ted Kennedy, Bob Menendez, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Alcee Hastings, Harry Reid and so many more thrive in government while none around them would dare raise an honest voice to call them out. I think corruption and fraud is endemic in government and will never be overcome or shunned.
