Well, Gov. Rick Scott’s legal action against the shoddy ballot counting antics in two of the most liberal counties in the state seems to have clinched its first win: A Florida judge ruled that Broward County, the largest Democratic county in the state, was in violation of state law, and that Brenda Snipes, the county’s elections supervisor, was in violation of open records act. Ms. Snipes was not giving regular updates on how many outstanding ballots were left. She was just dumping vote counts in the late hours, which has chipped away at Scott’s lead, but the secrecy and the timing was suspect. Why is Broward taking so long? Hurricane Michael-ravaged counties have been able to count their ballots on time. Now, she must comply with records inspections by 7 P.M.

Absolutely true. Surely the POTUS is not so dense as to appoint another useless POS to that critically important position. What he needs to do is to have Whitaker made permanent ASAP. LIKE BETWEEN NOW AND THE END OF NEXT WEEK!
Isn’t all of it hopelessly tainted at this point? I would expect a judge with half a brain could see that and invalidate all of those votes and require a re-vote that is heavily supervised to keep it from happening again.
Simply un-certify the entire lot. Disallow the entire County vote.
Snipes represents the logical endpoint of the postmodernist indoctrination during the past 40 years. In a world of “white privilege,” autocrats like Snipes have a religious fervor that makes it perfectly acceptable to place a thumb on the scales to balance out decades of (phony) inequities on behalf of the so-called “oppressed.” Overturning legitimate elections is deemed a fair price to extract from the bigoted oppressors. It is an acceptable casualty on the long march to “freedom and justice” - a shibboleth common among self-appointed racial avengers.
Invalidate Broward County’s votes.

Under the Constitution, Article 1, Section 5:
“Each House shall be the judge of the elections, returns and qualifications of its own members”
The Senate should overturn any electoral theft.

I’m curious if Florida laws give any recourse other than saying Blouward didn’t do it right.
Honestly....I think this would be a just outcome. Broward and Palm Beach counties have repeatedly had issue after issue after issue when it comes to following the laws regarding vote counting.
EITHER they are the most incompetent imaginable and have persistently refused to deal with the problem despite decades of notice OR they are massively corrupt. A good incentive to clean up their act would be to simply nullify their ballots in this election. Oh they’d scream and they’d be irate.....but you can bet they would actually fix their voting commission and not allow it to happen again. Barring that, they have no incentive not to keep trying to cheat.
