Full title........Trump’s acting attorney general, Matt Whitaker, has no intention of recusing from Russia probe,, associates say...........................Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker has no intention of recusing himself from overseeing the special counsel probe of Russian interference in the 2016 election, according to people close to him who added they do not believe he would approve any subpoena of President Trump as part of that investigation.

Since stepping into his new role on Wednesday, Whitaker has faced questions — principally from Democrats — about whether he should recuse from the Russia investigation, given that he has written opinion pieces in the past about the investigation, and is a friend and political ally of a witness.

Sessions recused himself because of the comments he made
about Hillary and Russia probe during campaign.

FAKE NEWS ALERT!!!!

Why is this, too, fake news, even the headline? Because it assumes that there is a good reason for Whitaker to recuse, planting the seed of a false narrative into the public discourse. Not only is there no basis for recusal, but the lame “reasons” are just made up. Prosecutors are perfectly allowed to have opinions on cases they are handling. They are not judges who have to abide by a code of impartiality. Merely knowing a witness is likewise no reason for recusal, when the relationship is fully disclosed and bears no relationship to he interests under investigation.

FAKE NEWS!!!!

He may still have his job but for all practical purposes he is now a operational eunuch.

“given that he has written opinion pieces in the past about the investigation, and is a friend and political ally of a witness.”

Lets play connect the dots with Mueller, Ohr, Comey, Rosenweasel et al and then start demanding recusals.

the lid coming off the pressure cooker.
