Upset over President Trump firing Attorney General Jeff Sessions, MSNBCs Rachel Maddow is organizing mass marches.
The protests are slated for today at 5 PM.
Its happening, she wrote online. This is a break the glass in case of emergency plan to protect the Mueller investigation.
We knew this would happen at some point, she added. The day has arrived.
Maddow posted the messages to her Twitter account, which has 9.54 million followers.
The marches are being sponsored by Indivisible.org, a liberal activist group made up of former congressional staffers.
The group is demanding Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker disclaim any authority over the Robert Muellers Russia probe.
Maddows activism comes as Fox News Sean Hannity was recently criticized for appearing at a Trump rally.

At least she didn’t attend a Trump rally, like Hannity. That makes her an impartial conveyor of the news.
And in other news, it’s raining in Seattle.
These people are deranged. The Mueller investigation is UNAFFECTED by this move.
We are on the brink of civil war.
“He was asked to resign and he did. Big difference.”
These people can take a simple good morning greeting and turn it into a threat of bodily harm...so I’m not surprised at the knee jerk reaction.
The Attorney General serves at the pleasure of the president.
My pleasure with Senator Sessions as attorney general wore out a long time ago. Nice guy, excellent voice during the last campaign, but it was Trump’s one huge mistake to appoint him. Besides the obvious Mueller and deficient justice department stuff, we also lost a republican senate seat. That was a terrible loss and we’re still paying for it.
The MSM knows there was no Russian collusion, but theyre all in with the Deep State to try and drive the president from office. What a sad state this country has become when our media and government officials emulate the Third World countries we ridicule!
MadCow suddenly cares about Sessions?? THAT’s a hoot!!
It makes sense
Sessions was forced upon Trump by RINOs and especially the Deep State, who organized and is promoting the “Russia Collusion” nonsense, particularly via their controlled media. Trump survived, and now the plug is pulled on this farce.
If you got sick about the organized, phony political attack made over Kavanaugh, this will really make you wretch
And now, in hindsight, I'd say leaving Rosenstein in place amounted to making him (Rosenstein) a lame duck.
And that's what happens when you talk about wearing a wire to record the President. R is a dumb a**. He got zonked.
Yep, if he wasn’t doing everything he could to block FISA investigation, he would be attacked for being anti-woman.
She has nearly 10 million followers on Twitter?
99.9 mil are bots?
He was asked for his resignation. That’s NOT the same as being fired.
Liberals like Rachel Maddow know they’re lying but when the lie works better for her type - - she lies...
For over 50 years when you joined man newsroom at non-union newspapers you signed your resignation letter before you worked your first day... If they wanted you out they pulled the letter and you were gone.
Now we KNOW he was a SWAMP DWELLER!
Quite so. The left is mentally deranged and unhinged; not necessarily stupid but frequently are.
They know that if they get violent in the wrong place they can be on the receiving end of that violence.
Don't quote me but I "hear" a person good with certain defensive tools can take 3 or 4 out with one pull.
Not in the least.
They want most of us dead, the rest in chains; absolute power of life and death over their opponents.
Isn’t she a lesbo?
Nope. The Cartoon News Network declared war on this Administration years ago. All is fair in love and war - or so 'they' say.
Jeff Sessions is back in the running for his old Senate seat...
