Yep a Democrat. She took Rice’s place as Nassau County DA when Rice took Carolyn McCarthy’s seat in Congress. McCarthy played the loss of her husband and wounding of her son by Colin Ferguson on LIRR 5:33 into her political career.
I know somebody who works for her. That’s why I know she’s a Dem.
If I remember correctly, McCarthy’s husband had been a life-long Republican.
