The absentee and and few outstanding precincts were mostly in Missoula and Butte both heavy blue areas. Early Wednesday I looked at the outstanding vote and knew Tester would win. Nothing appears nefarious.
Arizona is going to be very close as they have around 600,000 votes they are counting with almost 80 percent of those in Maricopa County that was essentially split between McSally and Sinema, Pima County that went for Sinema has sizable outstanding vote and the remainder are in mostly Red counties. The blame for loss here will be Ward and Arpaio voters that refused to vote for McSally. We just prefer to shoot ourselves in the foot rather than opponents.
Oh so the republican is gonna lose in Arizona?
—yep—remember what put Al Franken in the Senate—Minnesota dems kept “finding” missed ballot boxes for about 3 weeks-—
Perhaps they voted for Sinema out of spite, but they didn't stay home. The total votes in the McSally-Sinema race were just about the same as the Ducey (R) - Garcia (D) governor's race, and Ducey crushed Garcia.
If Ducey voters picked Sinema over McSally (and many must have) that's a testament to the massive out-of-state funded advertising campaign Sinema has been running since June, claiming she was the Next Great White Female Moderate. Certain demographics in our base can make pretty stupid decisions when confronted with such messaging. :)
