For almost 35 years, Tarrant County has been the most reliably red, urban county in Texas. Then, on Election Day, Democrat Beto O'Rourke beat Republican incumbent Ted Cruz in the county.

And how did this county vote 2 years ago for trump.
51.7 percent for Trump
This is very troubling. Something very worrisome is going on in Texas, Georgia, Florida, and Arizona.
Anchor babies come of voting age every day.
I wonder how many counties with around 300,000 or more people are red?
Duval County, Florida (Jacksonville) is purple now.
Long time former resident of Tarrant County in both Fort Worth & Arlington . . . not super surprising, more and more are moving a little west to Aledo, exemplary school district and in Parker County. IF I ever move back it will be at least as far west as Parker County in Aledo or further towards Weatherford. NOT Fort Worth proper.
Yup...once these states are lost, so is the Republic.
So how did the trump district go to Beta male? Didn’t turn that way in 2 years. maybe Cruz isn’t as popular with Republicans and in Texas anykore. plus I mean how many millions of dollars did a Beta have to spend?
Yup.
It had more to do with dislike for Cruz than affection for Beto.
I think Tarrant went for Abbot who easily won the Governors race.
Something huh? Massive Illegal invasion anchor babies growing up the vote ect.
Let’s not forget the marxists who destroy and ruin liberal cities and states moving to a conservative state for business opportunities and better housing lower crime. Turn around start voting for the same stuff that ruin the state they left.
The whole country is getting more and more socialist and left-wing. The schools, the colleges, the political correct bleeding heart multicultural culture, the immigrants who trend Democrat, the decline of Christianity, etc. etc, what did I forget. Every conservative state is trending left, it’s just a matter of time. It’s not just TX, GA, FL, and AZ.
The problem is that conservative policies create jobs. Then liberals flee their socialist hellholes and move in for the jobs, but still vote like they did before. It is happening everywhere.
Cruz was loathed by many Republicans and the narrow margin of his win showed.
TX is still a GOP state but a lot of people couldnt stand Cruz.
Trump was running against the most flawed candidate in dem history ... Hillary! Trump wasn't on the ballot this time around.
Politics follows culture.
What about the other post said that the same county voted for the Republican governor?
The same county voted for the Republican governor. Do you guys just wanna find something to worry about?
