Good call!
It wasn’t an “assault.” But he did physically interfere - physically stopped her from doing her job.
No. It was a sexual assault.
Unlike Christine Blasey Ford, the WH intern has a date, place and multiple witnesses.
Shes credible. Using the Democrat standard, I believe her.
“It wasnt an assault. But he did physically interfere - physically stopped her from doing her job.”
Oh yes indeed. Assault is an attempt. Battery is a completed assault. You swing at someone, that’s battery. You connect, that is battery. Battery is the application of force, however small, in a rude and angry manner.
It was battery, plain and simple.
No, it was indeed assault. He forcefully assaulted her by use of his arm against her arm. If he hurt her it would be assault and battery.
“It wasnt an assault.”
It most certainly was. He pushed down her arm, that is called assault. If your wife was shopping and reached for something and a Man physically stopped her with his arm, what would you call that?
In some states an “unwanted touch” can be considered simple or misdemeanor assault. I am pretty sure she didn’t want him touching her.
In a professional setting he was really way out of line. It would be one thing for someone to act like he did hogging the mike and not wanting to give up his turn at a bar on karaoke night; this setting requires a few more manners in my opinion.
The press has been needing lessons in manners since President Trump was elected.
#18. It was “battery”, an illegal “touching” of a person without their permission. A CRIME.
It most definitely was assault, as I understand the law.
And simple assault does not require actual contact.
